Precision vision correction AR app stands out at trade show
See the difference, dive deeper
For an international medical trade show, we created Deep Dive AR, an immersive trade show experience that blends interactive storytelling with product education. The installation invited attendees to guide a virtual diver through a custom AR scene, transforming a simple gesture into a powerful metaphor for precision vision correction.
Partners
We partnered with creative agency MCCGLC to create an immersive showcase for their client, a global leader in ophthalmology and vision correction. Renowned for pushing the boundaries of innovation in eye care, the pharmaceutical client sought a creative way to make their presence at expos memorable and meaningful. Together, we developed an interactive experience that communicated their core message: precision matters when it comes to our eyesight.
Plunge beneath the surface
The centerpiece of the installation was a custom-built AR experience: after scanning a tracking image, attendees could access the AR experience using a tablet. Encouraged to select an avatar, attendees would control the direction and depth of their dive into virtual water by aligning elements on the screen. Each AR interaction controlled the success of each diver’s process, mimicking the fine-tuned precision required in modern vision correction. As the avatars plunged beneath the surface, more interactive mini challenges were presented underwater, accompanied by quiz style questions about our client’s product, to hammer home the clarity, focus, and depth that our client’s product offers.
Our client wanted more than just a booth, they wanted an experience. In a sea of static displays and sales materials, Deep Dive AR offered a dynamic, hands-on metaphor for precision in medical technology. The goal was to turn heads, spark conversations, and make a technical product feel emotionally resonant.
Marketing that makes a splash
Augmented reality stands out in the chaos of a convention floor. Attendees were drawn in by the novelty, stayed for the interaction, and left with a clear takeaway: precision matters. AR allowed us to translate complexity into clarity, transforming passersby into engaged participants.
Deep Dive AR proved that augmented reality tools aren’t just about tech, they’re about connection. By turning vision correction into an interactive journey, we gave our client more than visibility: an engaging showcase experience that potential clients are unlikely to forget.
