High-speed Oracle data made immersive
Bloodhound LSR car AR data showcase
Oracle, one of the world’s leading cloud and data services companies, challenged Zubr to create an immersive AR Data Showcase experience that would demonstrate the power, scale, and flexibility of Oracle Cloud to prospective clients visiting their UK Technology Innovation Centre.
The goal was to make complex, high-volume data immediately understandable and memorable by translating it into a tangible, interactive 3D experience.
Zubr delivered a virtual reality experience built around real-time data from the Bloodhound Supersonic Car project, transforming live telemetry into an explorable visual environment that clearly illustrated Oracle Cloud’s high-performance data capabilities. The VR experience was delivered alongside an augmented reality app, which revealed interactive labels on the physical Bloodhound scale model.

This project was delivered in close collaboration with the Oracle UK team, alongside Bloodhound LSR.
We are pushing the boundaries of what you can do with data today, we are moving into augmented and virtual reality... you can come from different angles to look at the data."

Bloodhound data showcase
At the heart of the installation was a fully immersive VR experience visualising live data from the Bloodhound LSR vehicle during real-world test runs. Users could launch the experience using image tracking technology; by pointing the handheld immersive binoculars at a scaled-down model of the Bloodhound LSR.
To further ground the experience in reality, live data was streamed directly from the Bloodhound car itself into Oracle Cloud, using more than 500 onboard sensors. Data points streamed from the car included wind resistance, brake pad temperature, and steering wheel rotation. In turn, the virtual experience was augmented with contextual data including weather conditions, to inform an accurate realtime 3D representation of the test run at Newquay Airport.
Meanwhile, the AR app revealed interactive labels to highlight key structural and mechanical components, allowing visitors to understand how different areas of the LSR car responded under extreme conditions. Visitors could explore the vehicle spatially, gaining insight into performance, stress, and behaviour that would otherwise be locked inside raw datasets.
Conversation-sparking impact
The installation provided Oracle with a compelling focal point for client engagement. By seeing live data in action, visitors quickly understood the scale, speed and flexibility of Oracle Cloud – avoiding abstract or lengthy explanations.
The Bloodhound experience positioned Oracle as a leader in high-performance data handling, combining real-time data, immersive 3D visualisation and thoughtful design. By showcasing Oracle’s role in managing the immense volumes of sensor data generated across the Bloodhound vehicle, the experience linked Oracle Cloud directly to the pursuit of a land speed record.
Zubr helped Oracle transform complex cloud technology into something visitors could see, explore and understand instantly, whilst demonstrating their capabilities in the most demanding of environments. As a result, Oracle strengthened client confidence, elevated brand perceptions, and clearly communicated the power and reliability of their cloud solutions, leading visitors inspired and informed.
The innovation showcase was further enhanced by an interactive augmented reality city, highlighting Oracle’s extensive portfolio and client base, setting the tone for each visitor’s experience from the moment they arrived.
