Commitment to Achieving Net Zero

Zubr Virtual Reality Ltd is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050 in alignment with the UK Government’s Net Zero Strategy. As a small SME specialising in Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR), we acknowledge our responsibility to minimise environmental impact. We are committed to measuring, monitoring, and reducing our greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Standard.

This Carbon Reduction Plan outlines our baseline emissions, current emissions footprint, reduction targets, and initiatives to lower emissions over time.

  • Scope 2 – Purchased Electricity: 8203 kWh/year from the Bristol office. Emissions factor 0.183 kg CO₂e/kWh → 1.5 tCO₂e/year.
  • Scope 3 – Indirect Emissions:
    • Employee commuting: 3 employees drive 3x/week → 1.01 tCO₂e/year
    • Business travel: 2 international trips + 6 UK public transport trips → 2.3 tCO₂e/year
    • Waste: recycling and general waste bins → 1.092 tCO₂e/year
